"Hand Hooked Liberty Rug
on a Grainpainted Cupboard!"

This is my hand hooked Primitive Folk Art Liberty Rug made with Hand Dyed Wool.

I have taken a newer wood cupboard with a pewter colored knob that was finished in cherry colored stain and given it a vintage finish with primitive grain painting using vinegar paint in dark blue/black which allows the red cherry color to show through. The finish has been sealed.

I have attached my rug to the paneled front of the cupboard--the rug was designed to fit the space exactly.  The rug has been permanently attached and is not removable.

My Liberty rug is hand hooked in primitive reds, whites, golds and blues with an antique blue/black/red background. 

This rug is my version of Old Glory against the nite sky and is my original copyrighted design. 
The hooked area measures 8 1/4 by 14 1/2 inches.

The cupboard measures 18 3/4 " high by 13 3/4 inches wide
by 6 3/8 inches deep.  Inside are two removable shelves and
several key hooks.  This sweet little cupboard can stand on a surface or be hung on a wall--use it anywhere!

Liberty has been hand rug hooked using all recycled wools that have been hand dyed by me.
